Description

The performance of Igor Stravinsky's Pribaoutki for voice and eight instruments at the 7th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The work was performed by Cathy Berberian (mezzo-soprano) and the Ensemble of the Grand Theatre in Warsaw conducted by Bogusław Madey on 24 September 1963 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Hall.

The Ensemble members: Tadeusz Wołoszyn (flute), Mieczysław Mazurek (oboe), Zdzisław Błaszkiewicz (clarinet), Romuald Arndt (bassoon), Marek Szwarc (violin), Jarosław Lawrence (viola), Marian Raczek (cello), Zdzisław Marczyński (double bass).
