Harrison Birtwistle’s Monody for Corpus Christi performed by Dorothy Dorow (soprano), Włodzimierz Tomaszczuk (flute), Igor Ivanov (violin), and Jan Gnida (horn) under the direction of Adam Kowalczyk.


The Polish premiere of the piece took place on 24 September 1964 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Hall during the 8th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
