Dennis Eberhard's Marginals performed by the Warsaw Trombone Quartet and the Nederlandse Omroep Stichting Radio Chamber Orchestra of Hilversum conducted by Ernest Bour.


The Polish premiere of the work took place on 21 September 1978 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall as part of the 22nd Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


The Warsaw Trombone Quartet was composed of: Jerzy Golka, Jerzy Wysocki, Zdzisław Stolarczyk, Grzegorz Lacewicz.
