Composer Alfred Sznitke on the stage of the Warsaw Philharmonic after the performance of his Concerto Grosso for two violins and chamber orchestra by Gidon Kremer, Tatiana Grindienko and the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra conducted by Jouzas Domarkas.

The Polish premiere of the work took place on 24 September 1978 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall as part of the 22nd Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
