Description

The world premiere of Włodzimierz Kotoński's Chamber Music for 21 instruments and percussion at the 2nd Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


The piece was performed by the Chamber Orchestra of the State Silesian Philharmonic in Katowice under the baton of Andrzej Markowski on 29 September 1958 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall. The work consists of four movements.
