Description

Gwyn Pritchard's Nephalauxis performed by the Royal Łazienki Quartet and the percussionists Marta Ptaszyńska and Hubert Rutkowski. The quartet was composed of: Magdalena Rezler-Niesiołowska (I violin), Maria Słubicka-Podejko (II violin), Marek Bugajski (viola), Jerzy Andrzejczak (cello).

The Polish premiere of the work took place on 16 September 1979 in the Concert Hall of the State Higher School of Music in Warsaw as part of the 23rd Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
