Description

Finnish composer Erik Bergman at the stage of the Warsaw Philharmonic after the performance of his piece Birds in the Morning, Op. 89 by Mikael Helasvuo (flute) and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra from Helsinki conducted by Leif Segerstam.

The world premiere of the work took place on 18 September 1979 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall as part of the 23rd Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
