The English soprano Dorothy Dorow and the Het Residentie Orkest conducted by Ernest Bour perform Theo Loevendi's Six Turkish Folk Poems.

The Polish premiere of the work took place on 22 September 1980 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall as part of the 24th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
