The Russian pianist Sviatoslav Richter and soprano Galina Pisarenko after the performance of Karol Szymanowski 's Songs of the Infatuated Muezzin, Op. 42 to the words of Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz.

The work was performed on 23 September 1980 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall as part of the 24th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
