Description

György Ligeti's Requiem performed by Liliana Poli (soprano), Anna Malewicz-Madey (mezzo-soprano), the Warsaw Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and Choir, and the Polish Radio and Television Choir from Krakow conducted by Andrzej Markowski.


The Polish premiere of the piece took place on 21st September 1968 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall during the inaugural concert of the 12th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
