Description

The world premiere of Tadeusz Wielecki's Anamnesis for symphony orchestra at the 62nd Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


The piece was performed by the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice under the baton of Ryan Bancroft during the closing concert on 28 September 2019 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall. Sound directors: Barbara Okoń-Makowska, Przemysław Kunda.


The composition was commissioned by Warsaw Autumn.

Description The 'Sound Chronicle of the Warsaw Autumn' 2019 consists of three audio CDs and presents recordings of opening and closing concerts as well as Youth Section of the Polish Composers’ Union concert. The project was subsidized by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund as part of the National Institute of Music and Dance programme ‘Muzyczny ślad‘ (Musical Trace). The album was released thanks to the support of the Society of Authors ZAiKS. The project partner was Repliq Media Sp. z o.o.
