Description

The premiere of Paweł Siek's NEOPLAST. COMP. (2nd FLOOR) for flute, clarinet, electric guitar, percussion, viola and double bass at the 62nd Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


The piece was performed by the Hashtag Ensemble under the direction of Marta Kluczyńska during the Concert of the Youth Circle of the Polish Composers’ Union on 27 September 2019 at the Concert Hall of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music.


Ensemble members: Ania Karpowicz - flute, Oliver Andrushchenko - clarinet, Aleksandra Demowska-Madejska - viola, Mateusz Loska - double bass, Hubert Zemler - percussion, Wojciech Błazejczyk - electric guitar.


The composition won the 1st prize in the 10th Zygmunt Mycielski Composition Competition.

Description The 'Sound Chronicle of the Warsaw Autumn' 2019 consists of three audio CDs and presents recordings of opening and closing concerts as well as Youth Section of the Polish Composers’ Union concert. The project was subsidized by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund as part of the National Institute of Music and Dance programme ‘Muzyczny ślad‘ (Musical Trace). The album was released thanks to the support of the Society of Authors ZAiKS. The project partner was Repliq Media Sp. z o.o.
