Donald Erb receives flowers after the performance of his Concerto for Cello and Orchestra by Roman Jabłoński and the Great Symphony Orchestra of Polish Radio and Television in Katowice conducted by Jacek Kaspszyk.

The Polish premiere of the work took place on 19 September 1981 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall during the 25th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
