The Wind Quintet of the Polish Radio and Television in Katowice, Halina Łukomska (soprano) and Augustyn Bloch after the performance of his piece Salmo gioioso per soprano e cinque fiati.

The Polish premiere of the work took place on 21 September 1972 at the Concert Hall of the State Higher School of Music in Warsaw as part of the 16th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The Wind Quintet of the Polish Radio and Television in Katowice was composed of: Jerzy Mrozik, Jerzy Szafrański, Henryk Kiecka, Zygmunt Tlatlik, Czesław Słapa.
