Wojciech Kilar and Tadeusz Dobrzański on the stage of the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall after performance of Exodus by the Choir of Polish Radio and Television in Krakow and the Great Symphony Orchestra of Polish Radio and Television in Katowice conducted by Jacek Kaspszyk.

The world premiere of the work took place on 19 September 1981 during the 25th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
