The Polish premiere of Igor Stravinsky's cantata for male choir and symphony orchestra The King of the Stars (Le roi des étoiles) at the 6th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


The work was performed by the Choir and Symphony Orchestra of the Karol Szymanowski Krakow Philharmonic conducted by Andrzej Markowski on 22 September 1962 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.
