Description

Iannis Xenakis on the stage of the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall after the Polish premiere of his work Aïs for baritone, solo percussion solo and orchestra during the 25th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The piece was performed on 20 September 1981 by Spyros Sakkas (baritone), Stanisław Skoczyński (percussion) and the Symphony Orchestra of Polish Radio and Television in Krakow conducted by Antoni Wit.
