Wojciech Kilar congratulates the concertmaster of the Warsaw Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, which performed his piece Springfield Sonnet under the baton of Witold Rowicki.

The Polish premiere of the composition took place on 21 September 1965 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall during the opening concert of the 9th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
