Krzysztof Penderecki speaks with clergy after the performance of his Te Deum for solo voices, mixed choir, and symphony orchestra on 21 September 1981 at St. John’s Archcathedral during the 25th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
The work was performed by Jadwiga Gadulanka (soprano), Ewa Podleś (alto), Wiesław Ochman (tenor), Andrzej Hiolski (baritone), and the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of Polish Radio and Television in Krakow, conducted by Antoni Wit. Choir director: Tadeusz Dobrzański.
