Description

Krzysztof Penderecki congratulates Henryk Czyż after the performance of Dies irae. Oratorium ob memoriam in perniciei castris in Oświęcim necatorum inexstinguibilem reddendam with Stefania Woytowicz (soprano), Wiesław Ochman (tenor), Bernard Ładysz (bass), and the Krakow Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra.

The composition was performed on 18 September 1967 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall as part of the 11th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
