Jan Fotek after the performance of his Musica Cromatica by the Latvian SSR State Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra in Riga conducted by Tovijs Lifšics.


The world premiere of the piece took place on 23 September 1984 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Hall as part of the 27th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
