Ivan Spassov with flowers after the performance of his Three Songs for women's choir during the 25th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The piece was performed on 25 September 1981 at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music Concert Hall by the Female Choir of the Higher Institute of Music Pedagogy in Plovdiv, conducted by Krikor Chetinian.
