The Polish premiere of Tristan Murail's Ethers for flute and five instruments during the 25th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The piece was performed on 26 September 1981 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall by members of Ensemble de l’Itinéraire from Paris conducted by Jacques Mercier.
