Tadeusz Baird's Four Songs for mezzo-soprano and chamber orchestra to poems by Vesna Parun performed by Krystyna Szostek-Radkowa and the Warsaw Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Witold Rowicki.


The piece had its Polish premiere on 16 September 1967 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall during the 11th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
