Krzysztof Penderecki's Passio et Mors Domini Nostri Jesu Christi secundum Lucam performed by Dorothy Dorow (soprano), Andrzej Hiolski (baritone), Bernard Ładysz (bass), Leszek Herdegen (recitation) and the Mixed Choir, Boys' Choir and Symphony Orchestra of the Karol Szymanowski State Philharmonic in Krakow conducted by Henryk Czyż. Choir preparation: Janusz Przybylski, boys' choir preparation: Józef Suwara.


The piece was performed on 24 September 1966 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall during the 10th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
