Description

Elliott Carter on the stage of the Concert Hall of the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music after the performance of his six poems A Mirror on Which to Dwell by Lucy Shelton and the ensemble Speculum Musicae under the direction of Robert Black.


The Polish premiere of the piece took place on 23 September 1986 as part of the 29th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


Speculum Musicae featured: Aleck Karis, Benjamin Hudson, Eric Barlett, Susan Palma, Gordon Gottlieb, Anand Devendra.
