Kazimierz Serocki's Niobe – music to excerpts from Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński’s poem for two narrators, mixed choir, and orchestra, performed by Zofia Rysiówna, Tadeusz Łomnicki, and the Warsaw Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra under the direction of Stanisław Wisłocki.
The world premiere of the work took place on 17 September 1966 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall during the opening concert of the 10th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
The composition consists of four movements:
- Recitativo
- Invocazione
- Lamento
- Antifona
