German composer Thomas Bottger among the audience in the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall during the 26th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The Polish premiere of his Funf Rilke-Lieder for high voice and chamber orchestra was performed by Edith Simon and Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin conducted by Heinz Rogner on 20 September 1983.
