Description

Rafał Augustyn with flowers after the performance of his String Quartet No. 2 with an alto flute ad libitum by the Silesian Quartet composed of: Marek Moś (1st violin), Arkadiusz Kubica (2nd violin), Witold Serafin (viola), Mirosław Makowski (cello). Jerzy Mrozik performed the alto flute part.

The world premiere of the work took place on 24 September 1983 in the Concert Hall of the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music as part of the 26th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
