British composer Paul Patterson on the stage of the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall after the performance of his Sinfonia for Strings by the Polish Chamber Orchestra conducted by Jerzy Maksymiuk.

The world premiere of the work took place on 24 September 1983 as part of the 26th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
