Description

The Polish premiere of Igor Stravinsky's Requiem Canticles for alto and solo bass, choir and orchestra during the opening concert of the 28th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


On 20 September 1985 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall, the piece was performed by Mariola Kowalczyk (alto), Jerzy Mechliński (baritone), the Choir of the State Silesian Philharmonic and the Warsaw Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jan Krenz. Choir director: Jan Wojtacha.
