Description

Pawlik Siedow and Nelly Li after the performance of George Crumb's song cycle Ancient Voices of Children on texts by Frederico Garcia Lorca during the 28th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The Polish premiere of the composition took place on 22 September 1985 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall. Pawlik Siedow (boy soprano) and Nelly Li (soprano) were accompanied by the Soloists' Ensemble of the Grand Theater Orchestra in Moscow under the direction of Alexander Lazarev.
