The performance of Karol Szymanowski's cantata Demeter for alto solo, female choir and orchestra, Op. 37 bis to words by Zofia Szymanowska at the 6th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


The piece was performed by Halina Szymańska and the Choir and Symphony Orchestra of the Karol Szymanowski Krakow Philharmonic conducted by Andrzej Markowski on 22 September 1962 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.
