The conductor Helmut Franz and composer Paweł Szymański receive flowers after the world premiere of Lux aeterna for voices and instruments during the 28th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The composition was performed on 26 September 1985 in the Concert Hall of the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music by the Süddeutscher Rundfunk Choir in Stuttgart conducted by Helmut Franz.
