The Polish premiere of Dmitri Shostakovich's Symphony No. 13, Op. 113 for bass solo, bass chorus and symphony orchestra to words by Eugeniusz Yevtushenko during the final concert of the 28th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
On 28 September 1985 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall, the composition was performed by Leonard Mróz (bass), the bass choir of the State Silesian Philharmonic and the Polish Radio and Television in Krakow, and the Great Symphony Orchestra of Polish Radio and Television in Katowice conducted by Antoni Wit.
