Description

The world premiere of Tadeusz Baird's Cassazione per orchestra during the final concert of the 1st Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The piece was performed by the Warsaw Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Witold Rowicki on 21st October 1956 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.

It is composed of three movements:


  1. Adagio molto tranquillo. Allegro;
  2. Andante molto cantabile;
  3. Allegro.
