Description

The performance of Zygmunt Mycielski's Polish Symphony at the 1st Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The piece was performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the State Philharmonic in Krakow conducted by Jerzy Gert on 17th October 1956 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.

It is composed of four movements:


  1. Ballada;
  2. Scherzo;
  3. Elegia;
  4. Rondo.
