The world premiere of Tadeusz Baird's Exhortation for reciter, mixed choir and symphony orchestra at the 4th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The work was performed by Aleksander Bardini (reciter) and the Warsaw Philharmonic Choir and Symphony Orchestra conducted by Witold Rowicki on 18th September 1960 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.
