Description

The Polish premiere of Paul Hindemith's Kammermusik No. 1, Op. 24 No. 1 at the 4th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The piece was performed by the Great Symphony Orchestra of Polish Radio conducted by Jan Krenz on 22nd September 1960 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.

It is composed of four movements:

  1. Sehr schnell und wild;
  2. Massig schnelle Halbe;
  3. Quartett: Sehr langsam und mit Ausdruck;
  4. Finale 1921: Lebhaft.
