Description

The Polish premiere of Anton Webern's Concerto for Nine Instruments, Op. 24 at the 4th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The work was performed by the Chamber Orchestra of Polish Radio and Television in Katowice conducted by Jan Krenz on 22nd September 1960 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.

It is composed of three movements:

  1. Etwas lebhaf;
  2. Sehr langsam;
  3. Sehr rash.
