Description

The Polish premiere of Igor Stravinsky's In Memoriam Dylan Thomas. Dirge-canons and song for tenor, string quartet, and four trombones at the 4th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The piece was performed by Andrzej Bachleda (tenor) and the Krakow Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble conducted by Andrzej Markowski on 18th September 1960 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.
