Description

The world premiere of Krzysztof Penderecki's Dimensions of Time and Silence for 40-part mixed choir, percussion and strings at the 4th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The piece was performed by the Krakow Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble conducted by Andrzej Markowski on 18th September 1960 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.
