The Polish premiere of Igor Stravinsky's Oedipus Rex (Act 2) at the 4th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The opera-oratorio in two acts after Sophocles was performed on 21st September 1960 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall. The cast: Oedipus - Kazimierz Pustelak (tenor), Jocasta - Krystyna Szostek-Radkowa (soprano), Creon - Andrzej Hiolski (baritone), Tiresias - Bernard Ładysz (bass), Shepherd - Andrzej Bachleda (tenor), Messenger - Andrzej Hiolski (baritone), Narrator - Jerzy Kaliszewski, and the Great Symphony Orchestra of Polish Radio conducted by Jan Krenz.
