Description

The Polish premiere of Luigi Nono's cantata Il canto sospeso at the 5th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


The work was performed by Catherine Gayer (soprano), Daniela Ekspaz (contralto), Eric Tappy (tenor) and the Warsaw Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and Choir conducted by Witold Rowicki on 16th September 1961 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.
