The Polish premiere of Pancho Vladigerov's Improvisation and Toccata for orchestra at the 5th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


The work was performed by the Sofia Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Konstantin Iliev on 17 September 1961 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.
