Description

The Polish premiere of Igor Stravinsky's Three Pieces for String Quartet at the 5th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


The work was performed by the Novak Quartet (Bohuslav Purger - 1st violin, Dusan Pandulla - 2nd violin, Josef Podjukl - viola, Jaroslav Chovanec - cello) on 18 September 1961 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Hall.
