Description

The Polish premiere of Luciano Berio's Quartetto d’archi at the 5th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


The work was performed by the Novak Quartet (Bohuslav Purger - 1st violin, Dusan Pandulla - 2nd violin, Josef Podjukl - viola, Jaroslav Chovanec - cello) on 18 September 1961 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Hall.
