The world premiere of a new version of Witold Lutosławski's Jeux Vénitiens at the 5th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


The work was performed by the Warsaw Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Witold Rowicki on 16 September 1961 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.
