The Polish premiere of György Kurtág's Eight Duetti, Op. 4 for violin and cimbalom at the 7th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The piece was performed by Judit Hevesi (violin) and József Szalay (cymbalom) on 29 September 1963 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Hall.
