The world premiere of Witold Rudziński's Musique concertante for piano and chamber orchestra at the 5th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
The work was performed by Barbara Hesse-Bukowska (piano) and the Silesian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Karol Stryja on 20 September 1961 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.
It consists of three movements:
- Rubato. Allegro. Giocoso;
- Andante amoroso. Quasi cantabile;
- Finale.
